About Me

👋 Hello!
My chinese name is Linhan Xia, but you guys can call me Chris. I come from P.R.China and I graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student from University of Oklahoma, department of Industrial Engineering System, under supervision of Dr. Yifu Li. Before that, I served as a research assistant at ICNLab, Shenzhen Graduate School, Peking University, working with Prof. Kai Lei. During my undergraduate studies, I was an RA of Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University supervised by Prof. Ricky Yuen-tan Hou.

🚀 Recent Researches and Activities

• 🏆 Oral Defense in ICCT 2024: Presented my research of machine to machine semantic communication and received the Best Presentation Award. (work under supervision of Dr. Ricky Hou)
• 🏆 Paper Accepted!: My work “PolyBERT: Fine-Tuned Poly Encoder BERT-Based Model for Word Sense Disambiguation” was accepted by the 18th International Conference on Knowledge Science, Engineering and Management (KSEM 2025). Worked with Prof. Kai Lei and Ms. Mingzhan Yang.
